The unit controls the linear motor action in combination with the Length Control unit LCCU, the Constant Load unit COLU and/or the Vibration unit VIBU.  A rotary switch allows switching between:

• Slack -test / Constant Velocity release
• Stretch release experiments (for inst. Eccentric contraction)
• Vibration experiment
• Constant Load experiments (isotonic releases)

The duration of the motor action is adjusted between o and 2s

The motor displacement is adjusted between 0 and 5mm

The motor action is triggered manually or by an external trigger pulse

A trigger output allows starting a data acquisition system

A titanic mode can be activated:

The duration of the titanic contraction is adjusted between 0 and 2s. A correspondingly long electric pulse gates the stimulator.

The delay between the onset of the titanic contraction and the motor action is adjusted between 0 and 1s.
